From Editor’s desk

It gives us immense pleasure to present Volume 17 (2025) of the NBU Journal of Plant Sciences. This volume reflects the journal's continued commitment to disseminating high-quality research and reviews that advance our understanding of plant sciences and address contemporary challenges in agriculture, biodiversity, environmental sustainability, and human well-being.

The articles published in this issue encompass a broad spectrum of disciplines, including plant physiology, taxonomy,  phytochemistry, medicinal plants, plant biotechnology, microbiology, sustainable food systems, and environmental stress biology. Contributions on seed biology, plantderived therapeutics, biodegradable biomaterials, probiotics, microbial bioremediation, and biodiversity studies highlight the interdisciplinary nature of modern plant science and its growing relevance to sustainable development. Together, these studies demonstrate how fundamental research can be translated into practical applications for agriculture, environmental conservation, healthcare, and industry.

The Editorial Board sincerely thanks all the authors for choosing the NBU Journal of Plant Sciences as a platform for disseminating their research.
