| Abstract: | In many pieces of ancient Indian literature, we come across the concept of ānvīkṣikī vidyā. As exact nature of this vidyā was not clearly specified by its proponents, many scholars thought that enquiry into its nature is worth pursuing. In this article I tried to state some scholars‟ views about the nature and development of this vidyā and with an analysis of mine. |
