dc.description.abstractIn Indian philosophy the problem of error is discussed in different theories usually known as the khyāti-vādas. The word Khyāti stands for knowledge and hence khyāti-vāda may mean theory of knowledge. The word jñāna has been used in Indian Philosophy in two different senses by two different sets of thinkers.
