| Abstract: | The Naxalbari uprising was an event of great significance not only in the history of the agrarian movements but also in the subsequent movements also. After this movement the name 'Naxalbari ' became a well-known place in the political atlas in India and abroad The present paper is an attempt to look back on the problem of peasant mobilization in pre-Naxalbari days in the light of recent available documents after five decades. |
