But the Cārvāka School accepts only two puruṣārthas, viz., artha and kāma, and rejects dharma and mokṣa altogether. Between the two puruṣārthas, kāma, the Cārvāka School says, is the supreme end and artha is the means to fulfil this end.Item Open Access The Concept of Tarka and its role in philosophical analysis(University of North Bengal, 2002) Roy, Nirmal Kumar; Ghosh, RaghunathItem Open Access Controversy between Ambedkar and Gandhij on Cast and Varna: Some Critical Observations(University of North Bengal, 2016-03) Roy, Nirmal KumarItem Open Access Dharma as a moral value(University of North Bengal, 2017) Barman, Ranjit Kumar; Roy, Nirmal KumarItem Open Access Is Tarka Pramana or an Accessory to a Pramana?: Some Observations(University of North Bengal, 2011-03) Roy, Nirmal KumarItem Open Access Is Upamana a Pramana?: Some Observations(University of North Bengal, 2014-03) Roy, Nirmal KumarItem Open Access Means to Resolve Religious Conflict: in the Light of Swami Vivekananda(University of North Bengal, 2015-03) Roy, Nirmal KumarItem Open Access Philosophy and our Practical Life(University of North Bengal, 2012-03) Roy, Nirmal KumarItem Open Access Philosophy of Bhartrhari: some problems(University of North Bengal, 2017) Das, Abir Kumar; Roy, Nirmal KumarItem Open Access Role of Virtues to Resolve Crisis(J. But today the most fatal crisis we are going through is nothing but the pandemic called covid-19. Naturally our society is looking for a way out to resolve this crisis. But I think the solution of this problem may be of two types-- one is to discover the medicine to cure the patient affected by the pandemic and another is the prevention of the pandemic itself. The first one is the concern of medical science but the second one I think is the concern of our Sastras. I think the role of our Sıstras is more important than that of medical science.Item Open Access True Buddhism in the Eye of Swami Vivekananda(Booksclinic Publishing, 2021) Roy, Nirmal Kumar; Sinha, Bonani; Choudhury, AbhishekItem Open Access Value Education as a Means to Resolve Social Crisis(University of North Bengal, 2017-03) Roy, Nirmal KumarItem Open Access Vision and Mission Of Śrimadbhagabatgītā(University of North Bengal, 2020-03) Roy, Nirmal KumarŚrimadbhagabatgītā is considered as Sāstra having immense importance for each and every individual all over the glove. In reply to this reaction it can be said that in fact here Arjuna is not a particular unique individual, he is a representative of all of us. Our Prime Minister is not an individual; he is the representative of all Indians. Likewise Arjuna is a representative of all individuals living in society. We all are Arjuna, so whatever is true to Arjuna is equally true to us....
