At national level also, the countries have also promoted mediation for dispute resolution. India is also promoting mediation in its jurisdiction to bring the backlog of cases down substantially. India is yet to bring out a full-fledged parliamentary statute on mediation like it has in case of arbitration and conciliation. It is in the interest of the country to ratify the Singapore Convention.enSingapore Convention on Mediation,ArbitrationConciliationSingapore Convention on Mediation and IndiaIndian Journal of Law and Justice, Vol. 11, No. 2, September-2020, pp. 19-34Article
