Every chapter bears uniqueness in their essence and due envisagement in the area of findings. In the existing global economic arena when normative approach of wealth distribution has assumed a prime importance from the viewpoint of mass poverty and inequality, we endeavoured to get answers to the woes and troubles of common people. Towards this purpose we invited chapters from the academicians on those issues of backwardness and on the dynamics of growth or development that can pave the way towards greater benefit of the general mass who are relentlessly struggling to get emancipated from the trap ofvicious circle of poverty. We have successfully compiled some chapters from the academicians in this book. All these chapters deal with different issues and limitations of the existing economic development in India, with special emphasis on women empowerment. We hope our endeavour will cater to the wants of the interested ones and will help guiding the economic thoughts and outlooks of concerned sections in newer dimensions escalated by the exchange of views. If our efort can help anyone oftheacademic circle a litle bit, that will give us the taste of success.
